“This is the first place we checked in in our trip which includes 4 other hotels. We were surprised to see the place. It was spacious, clean, cozy with cabin cottage style. The place had all we need for a comfortable stay. It is close to the shopping/ dining area. Our room also had a beautiful view of the mountains. We regret not booking another night there. We would like to go back to this property in the future. ”

“It was a great place to stay. Although, The pictures of lake front was misleading. We did not know where to go. It was definitely not located lake view as was described. Also did not know it was located in the actual lodge. Close to everything. Clean, well kept and very peaceful. Would consider coming back. Just need to choose better when looking for beach access/lake view.”

“A nice and more affordable option for those visiting North Lake Tahoe. The Granlibakken has an old-school Tahoe vibe, which can be both charming and dated. This particular room, while checking all the boxes, definitely has a bit of "staying the night at Grandma's house) vibe. Furniture is fully functional, but could use an upgrade. Overall, would stay again for the price, but would enjoy it more with a little refresh.”

“This unit was exactly as advertised. Excellent location in Northstar Village, top floor corner unit, with high ceilings and great light. Very well-equipped kitchen for those looking to cook ‘at home’ versus dining out each night. Very clean and organized, with small touches to add to your stay. Highly recommend! GRA”
