We were celebrating Easter and a birthday, and the kitchen had everything we needed for our feasts. When we insisted that the kids come inside, they appreciated the selection of games and puzzles. “The Creekside Cottage exceeded expectations. We chose this property based on it's location between Polymath Park and Fallingwater and Kentuck Knob, where we scheduled tours across a weekend. However, upon check-in, we immediately wished we could stay longer. Check-in and communication was a breeze. We walked into a welcoming space with a little treat basket and note from our host, Alta. “This is such a cute little, mostly private, cabin. Our visit was in the beginning of spring, the trees hadn't filled in yet, so there were a few houses visible from the front.The cabin was still winterized with plastic on the windows, so when we walked in, it was a bit stuffy, but after turning on all the fans, it became comfortable.The only real issue we had, was when we went to make the bed. The sheets that were left for us were dirty with dog hair all over them. Luckily there is a washer……
