“We stayed in unit three, which is upstairs. This unit had a rooftop balcony with 360 views, it was just beautiful up there. Your balcony overlooks the water, where while sitting there you see manatee, Tarpon, and even an occasional shark. If you had a boat, you could tie it up right there. The tavern 3 Doors Down has great entertainment and is very good and reasonably priced food. The unit has everything you need and the owner is very responsive and helpful with any of your needs.”

“My son, husband and I visited the Keys for the first time and enjoyed it so much. Our stay at Key Colony was wonderful. The complex was clean, located in a great area and so peaceful. Glad we stayed here for our first time to Marathon.”

“it was a mostly quiet, secure gated community. the pool and the view from the pool is quiet lovely. i would have liked to use the tricycle on property, but that was locked up with no combo available. i gifted the property a laundry basket, as it is not convenient to use the community laundry without a means to transport. ”

“Location was great-loved the pool and beach on site. Furniture/bed/pillows could use an update, TV was very small but was mostly outdoors enjoying the property and Marathon area.”

“We loved our stay at this villa! The view of the canal was great! The location was perfect for us. One of my favorite memories will always be coffee on the porch in the morning with family. We saw manatees almost every day in the canal. The pool was perfect! I have no complaints except you are only given 2 garbage bags for your entire stay and not enough toilet paper for a larger group. The coffee maker was broken when we arrived but a quick call to the property manager and a new one was……

“Not what we expected. Hoped to be closer to water. Could have used a map to the area. TV options were strange. No live network or sports networks? Most channels were internet channels. Could not figure out how to change volume on the Samsung remote available. Directions would have been helpful.”
