“My son is getting ready to deploy and wanted to see his Grandmother before leaving. This was the perfect spot to meet halfway and spend some time together. The only recommendation I have is that rug pads or rug tape is needed on most of the area rugs. My elderly Mother slipped on a corner of one of the rugs and we knew that she would need to be extra careful. We actually pushed the rug around the bed, in her room, underneath the bed to prevent a slip and fall. We would definitely stay here……

“Overall it was a nice, small place. I would HIGHLY recommend you bring your own king size sheets - unless you like polyester sheets. And bring your pillow, they were absolutely horrible - like somone stuffed old socks and sweaters into a pillowcase. Also, the windows need repair, they are very heavy and do not stay open on their own. You can prop them open, but watch out for your fingers! However the apartment is sorely in need of maintenance - the windows are drafty, the walls are patched and the bathrooms floors are peeling up - making it hard to shut the doors. “Great price for location and photos are 100% accurate for the 3rd floor unit we rented. King bed was a treat, as was the City Bakery and Bone & Broth restaurant on ground floor. But 1600sf in description is likely a typo; more like 4-or-500sf and the bathroom is tight. Place is spotless and everything is stocked and in working order. You can walk to middle of downtown shops in 15mins. As VRBO owners ourselves, we can say we'd stay here again.”

“Nicely renovated old building in gentrifying area on busy intersection. Lots of noise from the road and minimal parking (1 spot if you can find one) Rooms are small! No table to eat or entertain at. Limited seating in living room (seating for 4 people max) Bedroom with attached bath has a king bed with only 8" on the side and end to get into bed! It also blocked the closet door making it difficult to access or hang anything up. A queen bed would still be tight but at least allow access to both……
