“I enjoyed my stay here. The place is one of a kind and each room is unique. I was reluctant at first because of the shared bathroom, but I never had issues when I needed to use it. There is also an additional bathroom outside that I didn’t read about or see until my last night. The outdoor hot tub and shower were all placed uniquely in the back of the property amongst nature. The location is super remote and takes some patience trying to find, but you stay here for that reason — off the beaten……

“The cabin was wonderful and cozy! It was very private and feel like you have the island to yourself. It was close to Volcano national National park which is something we were looking for when finding a place to stay. The host was so kind and communicative.”

“Pros: This is our first time staying at a lodge like this, so close to nature, just like camping. You will hear coqui frog whole night & seeing them jumping next to your door step. Animals free roaming, peacocks, ducks, chicken. Kids loved it. Cons: There is barely any light at night in the Property…so if you come back late, it’s a bit challenging to find your cabin.”

“This was an amazing space to stay in for our visit to the big island! The home was immaculately clean, had everything we needed to be comfortable (including a washer & dryer), and afforded incredible views of the ocean (just steps away). The location is convenient for those based around Hilo and the neighbohood is quiet & walkable. We appreciated Liz's responsive communication prior to arriving and the ease checking in & out. We would definitely see if this home is available for a return trip!……

“What can I say, this place was perfect to celebrate an anniversary. It was romantic, very comfortable, clean, relaxing and every detail was thought of. The bed is to die for, comfortable, warm and the center of the treehouse overlooking the rainforest. Slept with windows open to hear the frogs. Owner really did a great job stocking the place with beautiful local art and all the comforts of home. There was a couch and soft lighting beneath the cottage for evening relaxing. She even took extra……
