“I had a wonderful stay at the Sunset Marquis. This was my third time staying there in the past 18 months, so I obviously like it. It's truly an oasis of calm right in the middle of West Hollywood. The location is great! It's just below the Sunset Strip, but far enough removed where you don't hear the noise of that lively area. It's within walking distance of a lot of places. “It was a cute and safe boutique hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful. I suggest just having a keycard sensor and some other type of security instead of calling front desk to open the parking garage gate to get in. The only complaint I have is the lack of robes, clean utensils (cups/ teaspoons.. we only had one and it’s used) and a full box of facial tissue (there were only a couple left) enough for the stay and the number of people booked in the room. “This is the worst 5-star hotel I have ever been to. They have a bar right up to my room with VERY NOISY music playing at midnight. The bathroom has water stains on the glass. It’s a dog friendly hotel and they don’t even have any potty area for dogs, or they didn’t tell me where it is. Again, it is the WORST HOTEL EVER!!! Don’t stay here. Spend your money on other nice hotels.”

“I have visited this property on occasion but never have I stayed here. In short, I really enjoyed it and would stay here again. In past reviews, some people have complained of the noise. But, I experienced the exact opposite. It was quiet and comfortable. Yes, the rooms could use some upgrading, but nothing big. The service was top notch, and the food and drinks were excellent. The rooftop lounge was fantastic. Set in a quiet neighborhood, but close to neighborhood restaurants was nice. ”
