“This was our first time staying at Loews. We love Coronado, and San Diego in general, and live about an hour away so it’s always a nice getaway. This hotel is about 5 miles past hotel Del Coronado just across from Silver-strand Beach. It’s beautiful and quiet the electric bike rentals at the property made it very easy and reasonable to rent and “ride” into town. “We just returned from this very lovely property. The plantings are gorgeous and the public spaces have plenty of comfortable seating spaces to relax. We especially enjoyed the evening in the lobby bar listening to a guitarist play gently in the background. The beds and rooms were comfortable. The housekeepers can be heard talking through the doors early in the morning. I shushed them! And I would not recommmend the very expensive, mediocre restaurant for dinner.
