“Comfortable quiet stay part of a longer visit to relatives. Room was cosy and ensuite was good fully functioning with lovely shower. Bed was firm but comfortable ,facilities limited but to an acceptable pricepoint ”

“I had a lovely stay at the Best Western Plus West Retford Hotel. The grounds are beautiful and the historic building adds a lot of charm. My room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout. Dinner at the restaurant was excellent—fresh and well-prepared. Only downside was the breakfast, which felt a bit basic compared to the rest of the experience. Overall, a peaceful and enjoyable stay. Would definitely return!”

“Staff were really friendly and helpful. Lots of local dining options nearby. Bus stop outside which is regular and takes you straight in to town and only 5 min walk away from the hotel. Plenty of parking and On site restaurant is available but no menu in the room which makes it difficult to consider room service. ”

“ It seems that the staff are not used to greet guests good morning and the like. Also ,the restaurant is under renovation until end March, so reduced breakfast has to be served inside room. The environment outside the hotel is good,though, with many restaurants nearby.”
