“We really wanted to get away for a few nights and relax, this spot was perfect. The area is beautiful, the house is great, the bed was comfortable, and it was nice and quiet. Towns are close enough to get some food or supplies and get back to doing nothing, Mineola, Hawkins, and Lindale are great little towns. Nelda was very helpful and nice. We enjoyed our stay.”

“The beautiful property is nestled in a group of pine trees away from the town. The house is roomy with large open rooms. The host is lovely and was very accommodating with our special request. The host lives next door and was always available. I understand we were the first group to stay at the house so there are a few things that could be improved mostly in the kitchen area. “The house was plenty large enough for our family group and had great communal space for gathering, meals, games. The setting was lovely- water views, playground for kids and pool. The outside spaces needed clean up- we had to clean all outside furniture before using and some of the cushions were not usable. Though we did not opt to have the pool heated we were not expecting it to be dirty and unusable at all. Perhaps the seasonal clean up has not been done? I would also suggest toilets be……

“We enjoyed a few of the amenities and the peacefulness of being in the woods! Thankfully the others renting this weekend where quiet because the rentals were so close to each other. We were only able to enjoy the trails the first day before it rained and got muddy. It would be nice if the trails had some gravel on them so you could enjoy them in any weather.
