“This cabin was easy to find, with off-street parking, and near the beautiful downtown area. I travelled with individuals with disabilities and found the spacious layout very accommodating to our needs. The bathrooms, common room, kitchen, and bedrooms gave it the cabin vibe, were comfortable, and had everything we could possibly need. The host was available for any feedback and I would highly recommend this location for families or friends looking to stay in Frederick. ”

“The house was a perfect size for my group of 10. We stayed for my birthday weekend and the house was very stocked with cleaning supplies, sheets, pillows, towels, etc. Michael was very responsive and even sent a huge list of recommendations in the area. If I'm ever in the area again, I will definitely be staying here!!!”

“The condo was very good for the price and convenience. I think it definitely needs a little TLC with the furnishing and details. The communication for check-in was pretty poor and it took calling VRBO support to get our checkin instructions within 45 minutes of arrival after my messages were ignored for 2 days leading up to arrival. ”

“Unfortunately we happened to stay when there was a wind storm in the county so we lost power, water and heat for the night. We texted the host to check on candles and/or flashlights but were told to “just use our phones”. (Not really an option when you’ve been traveling all day and phones are almost dead). The cottage is very rustic and not quite as comfortable as the pictures make it out to be. The bed is extremely firm so be aware if you have bad hips or back. There’s also glade plug ins in……

“It is a stunning house and absolutely does not look like a rental at all! The owner has meticulously decorated every single room. Even the back yard is adorable. It is warm and inviting. The beds are comfortable and so are the sheets. The kitchen is well stocked. The house was very clean, even with all of the decor. There is a fantastic bakery right across the street and a butcher that you must stop by to get meat and talk to the incredibly nice staff! There is some road noise and the towels……

“Everything was perfect, and comfortable. Owners really care about their visitors. Home was walk in perfect for a family long weekend. Happened to be Thurmont's annual colorfest festival, and home pefectly located, nestled away yet close enough for easy walking. Highly recommend. ”

“It was a very nice and clean home!! Well stocked with all the items we needed . Nice park right next door. Only complaint I had and is not a deal breaker is the he leaving room is small and needs more seating like a bigger couch but we made do!! Property management was available at all times for any issues!! Which we didn’t have any”

“This property is cozy, comfortable and very close to downtown. All the amenities we ended up needing (dishes, wine opener, wine glasses, shampoo and conditioner) were included. If I come back to visit Frederick, I'll definitely stay here again.”

“Rented the house as a basecamp for the weekend for my team and I as we were filming a short film, needed rooms for a couple people. Steve's place was true to the photos- lovely home in a convenient locale in a safe area, plenty of street parking, fast wifi, bath towels for guest use, several rooms. Steve was laid back and super helpful with answering my many questions. My group had a great weekend and enjoyed the stay. Highly recommend if you're in the area, would stay again! ”

“I love the attention to detail. I have a neck injury so one of the days I just slept and rested and it was magical. I appreciate how clean everything was. Me and my mom and daughters take an annual girls trip and this was just what we needed. Watched movies, enjoyed the spa feel of the house and played games. The hosts were SO sweet they had left us a Christmas goody basket. I would highly recommend. ”
