“Very clean and excellent communication. Loved the creek and wanted to sit on the porch to enjoy it but at this time of year there are a lot of bugs. Recommend screening the porch in so it can be enjoyed without the bugs. The kitchen is well stocked but would have loved to have a grill. ”

“This location is beautiful! It is very relaxing whether you are by the lake, the pool, or just walking around the property. The fishing was a lot of fun and there’s a good variety of fish. Also, there is a reason most reviews comment on how nice Tabby is. She is a very lovely person! The space was very roomy and clean. It was myself, my husband, and our two kids, and we fit very nicely in the space. I think the coffee bar was my favorite! I would very happily stay there again! ”

“My mom gifted this VRBO to my wife and I as a Babymoon vacation. I was unsure at first, but this ended up being my favorite place to get away from the day to day stress. The place is very cozy and peaceful. Definitely a country setting, which we appreciated. ”

The location is perfect for exploring Shenandoah valley. It is basically right in the middle of everything. We will definitely be coming back!”

“We rented a cabin instead of bringing oir camper. The cabin was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. Bedding, towels, kitchenware, and a coffee pot were all included. Enjoyed sitting on the screened in porch. Also, went on the cavern tour and these are the best caverns I've been in. Would highly recommend a visit!”

“Place was very clean and walkable to campus. Plenty of room to spread out. The downstairs bed was super comfortable! We also enjoyed sipping wine on the porch! ”

“My sister & I stayed here for 4 nights. It was just the reset we needed! The place was darling & exactly as pictured. Just perfect for us. Had a little bit of difficulty getting up the last bit of the road to the driveway but a neighbor said to go faster & that did the trick (first time I did any type of rough driving in my Subaru). We went to the Luray caverns & some other local spots. We also spent a day just chilling at the cabin. It was exactly what we needed & we plan to go back!!!!……

“Our family of 5 stayed at the Gingerbread Cottage for 3 nights to celebrate our daughter's college graduation from JMU. The location was ideal as it was not far from Harrisonburg and close to restaurants. We had fun at Cave Hill Brewery, which was close and had great meals at Thunderbird Cafe (breakfast) and Hank's (great bbq dinner). We highly recommend staying at this property and would return if in the area again. ”

“Great place. The owners were quick to respond when we had some questions about the tv and air conditioner. Really clean. Everything you needed. Bed was comfy but needed new sheets and mattress pad that stayed put. There was an extra small mattress that was crammed in by the table that was a little annoying and made space crowded. A single AIR mattress would have been a better option. The closet where all the extra bedding and extra towels were kept was over crowded and stuck out in walkway. All……

“The property is lovely quiet community nice home to spend vacation with family. Very convenient commute to attractions in Massanutten very close to the water park. The Host was extremely helpful with great hospitality any questions I had I got immediate response really nice. Very quiet nice community if you looking for a quiet community to vacation this is it. Definitely would book this home again. ”
