“Artist Sky Loft is a lovely apartment in Black Mountain. The decoration is awesome, very bright and artsy. The place has been upgraded and is very clean. The location is directly downtown and you can walk to everything. The only thing to be aware of is it is on top of a bar so you can hear the band and noise until they close at 10 on Fri and 11 on Sat but it wasn't a problem for us. I would definitely recommend staying here if you want to be down town. Parking is on the street. The earlier or……

“Just what I was needing for a few nights traveling by myself. I was a bit hesitant before booking since it's attached to someone's house, but such positive reviews, I booked it. I'm glad I did. Mary was a wonderful host. Stairs up to your own entrance and balcony facing the mountains. Cute and charming inside with a spacious bathroom. “The property was clean and well appointed. Plenty of room for the 2 of us. Great porch with tables to share a meal or a drink. Quiet residential neighborhood, good for walking or just relaxing. Two issues, stove was not level and the oven definitely needs the thermostat checked out. There were no comforter or bedspread, just sheets. It would be nice to have a lightweight cover. ”

“We loved the quirky round shape of the “mothership”! Location was close to Marion and Morganton and close to 40. We enjoyed the hot tub and played some pool too! Bed was comfortable and we had everything we needed. Owner had very good communication with us. Description was accurate. ”

“We had a wonderful stay in downtown Black Mountain in this spacious one-bedroom. Very clean and minimalist design. As others have said, you can do and see a lot without the use of your car. It does get loud at nite but we did have our windows open because of the warm weather.”

“I was in town for a short Four night visit. This property was in the perfect location right downtown so I could walk to all the shops restaurants and nightlife I wanted to go to. It is so spacious, bright, airy, and clean. The original artwork sprinkled around the apartment was magnificent. I’m saddened that it is being taken off for a long-term rental. If it were not for that, I would stay here every time I came to Black Mountain.! ”

“We stayed in the upstairs apartment and had a stunning view of the Black Mountain range from the deck as well as inside the living area. Spent a lot of time relaxing and enjoying the view. The apartment had everything we needed with plenty of space for the two of us. We fixed breakfast in the kitchen every morning and got takeout for several other meals. Just enjoyed our meals in this beautiful. serene setting. Hope to return some day.”

“This little mountain cabin was the perfect fit for me, my husband, and our dog. It was nice and clean when we arrived. The parking under the awning is a little tight, but we were able to fit our full size pickup under there and open all the doors just fine.
