“Incredible spot to spend a weekend away. Met or exceeded expectations in all ways and really enjoyed the hot tub and screened in porch to relax! Highly recommend to anyone wanting to spend a weekend away. Short drive to Black Mountain and Asheville downtown as well.”

“This was such a nice house! My son, husband and I stayed here for 3 days. It was great! There were condiments and so much stuff for us to use, which was nice coming from out of state and not wanting to buy all the things that we would just use a little of. The place smelled so clean and fresh! They were great about communication every step of the booking and check in. We plan on coming back with my other family members next time. There was lots of extra room!”

“Beautiful mountain setting, horse pasture out front. Friendly, helpful staff. Had to figure out why wi-fy wasn't working. Had to bring our own Keurig. Couldn't get to streaming tv. Tiny kitchen, few dishes.”

“The cabin is so private with multiple spots around the cabin to stay out and enjoy the view. The cabin is very well decorated to fit the mountain area. Kitchen is well-stocked. Many towels are provided. We loved everything about this place. The owner is kind and very responsive! He is a very gracious host. Part of the driveway is steep but it is not a major concern at all. We will be back!”

“The house was perfect, and every detail was thought of. We enjoyed your screened porch with a fire table. This is a great base point for hiking in and around Pisgah NF. ”

“Not a person to be seen. When we were there the Linemen where working on the lines they were responsible for most of the traffic on the road no neighbors maybe 10 or 12 cars a day house is clean big kitchen and no cell service or Internet but sign up for star link and take it without.”

“Loved the location. The house had fun games and entertaining aesthetics. Super cute and pet friendly with pet cages, a bed, etc. Very specious with a mom-n-pops environment. I would have done another check around the living room as we found what looked like previous owner's dog feces on the floor and a mild smell of dog urine by the crate, but otherwise, it was very well organized and clean.”

“This cottage was a gem. Check in was convenient and easy! The cottage was well stocked, extremely clean and cozy. We were able to walk to downtown Black Mountain as well as to other neighborhoods for hiking. We felt warm and safe. We will definitely return:)”

“thanks, you so much for a wonderful stay. the cabin was beautiful, clean and we loved it. the only issue I would say is trying to get out of the driveway. in a large truck, there was not a lot of room to maneuver and if we had had a second vehicle, I don't know how that would have worked due to the fact I am not use to such tight steep driveways. Overall, the cabin was amazing. thanks, you so much for a wonderful stay”
