“The property appears as listed. Great cabin in proximity to the Woodstock Museum and campus in Bethel Woods NY. There was a lot of rain during the stay that seemed to drive some large black ants inside. Apparently this is normal for this area. The ants were slightly annoying but acceptable given that we were in a rural area enjoying a rustic cabin on a wooded area. Absolutely loved the stay there. Went to the Bethel Woods museum and learned so much about the Woodstock Festival that happened in……

“It was very cool, just some slight inconveniences. -Only had one roll of toilet paper with no spares for 8 people. -Hottub was not completely filled so if we wanted to use it, we would need to find a bucket to or hose to fill it and wait for it to heat up. -A few cabinets in the kitchen would hit against each other or on the ceiling making them a bit annoying to useOther than that it was a pretty cool spot and owners were responsive when i texted them because i couldnt the email they sent me……

“We had the most wonderful time just writing in front of the lake cozied up with a blanket, while our dog ran and played in the yard. At night, the kitchen is the perfect kitchen to cook together and share a bottle of wine, with the music and fireplace going. 10/10 will def comeback!”

“It’s really a great property, very nicely equipped and very tastefully decorated. It was a true pleasure being there at night and also working from there for a few hours during the weekend. We didn’t need to communicate with the host much but we got a prompt and very helpful response the one time that we did need it (before arriving - late in the evening, we needed suggestions on what was open at that late hour to grab some food, beverages and the like). “The cabin was nice. The shower is extremely small but did the job. Bed was ok pillows were not good. Could use more towels had three for the whole weekend. A tv would be nice none in cabin. Overall had a nice time. Very quiet area.”

“Jan is a gracious and generous host who made us feel welcome during our stay. He went out of his way to stock the refrigerator with staple foods and added delicious fruits and authentic kielbasa. The house was clean, well maintained, and had lots of character. The kids occupied themselves with air hockey and Foosball in the basement.
