“We rented the cottage because we needed a place to stay as we were seeing Phish play at Bethel all 3 nights . The cottage was perfect , clean ,cozy and quiet . Loved the out side !! And the Hot tub was icing in the cake !!!! ”

There is a deck with a forest and a pond in the backyard, and a short walk through the forest to a creek. Very peaceful, with things to do in the area.”

Prior to arriving, our host, Jason sent detailed instructions, house policies and an amazing list of activities, attractions, restaurants and more so that we were able to have an idea of what we could do when we got here. “I don't like to put negative energy out into the Universe BUT... from the steep slippery stairs to the upside down entry door to the lack of water- no water at all in the morning- then the sulfuric water. And then there was the creepy cat picture on the wall. We named the place the S King Lodge after our favorite horror writer. The stairs alone are a red red flag. No light at the top of these steep, jankily constructed danger. And then theres the inside for which the only word that suits the……

“Very cute, small but cozy and comfortable. Stayed for 6 nights with my dog. Pretty remote area, extremely quiet and very pretty. Kitchen has everything you should need, the fireplace and record player are great. It was super snowy when we were there but still very warm. I will say in the winter not a great place for dog walks lol unless your dog is good off leash, which mine is not. But we managed ok. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would stay again!!”

“My fiancé and I were looking to get away from the city and we couldn’t have asked for a more relaxing getaway. It was the perfect cozy cottage to unwind and enjoy a beautiful snowfall. The pups had a blast in the snow. I will definitely be back to experience a summer getaway. Rosie’s communication was great and she was ten steps ahead of everything needed for snowstorm. ”
