My room was on the top floor, it was spacious, had a great bed, good bathroom and housecleaning. 👍 It’s central to Bala and Bala is a great village.”

“Pretty straight forward needed a night to stay since I was working on the weekend and the room was reasonably priced, staff is friendly, room was cleaned enough and it was comfortable enough that’s all I need so it’s worth going if you don’t fancy forking over a fortune to over places, got a pub downstairs and breakfast in the morning but couldn’t attend to those things as I drive and wake up earlier hours but overall judging the place it seemed pretty decent and I can’t complain.”

“Very impressed. Stayed for 1 night with my 8 year old son as a stopover on the way to Snowdonia. By far the cheapest hotel I could find in the local area, so expectations were low. Impressed though at the hotel, friendly staff at check-in, decent rooms and surprisingly comfy bed! Only downsides - the walls seemed rather thin, the angry man in the next room having an argument with someone on the phone was heard rather clearly(!) and shower lacked much pressure. But all in all, for a cheap night……

“Extremely spacious and well equipped with one exception, given the unusually warm weather—no AC, some fans, and no screens on windows that do open. The garden has a knockout location right on the river and some rooms also have this gorgeous view, including the huge bathroom with freestanding tub. There are however a lot of stairs. Kitchen is on lowest floor. Entry and dining and parlor are on street level, and there is no bathroom on that floor. So it’s a trek from kitchen to loo. The top floor……
