“I had a great stay at Y Pengwern Hotel. The room was super cozy, spotless, and had everything I needed to feel right at home - perfect for winding down after a day out. I really appreciated the extra heaters they provided—perfect if you like the room toasty and warm. The view from the window was absolutely stunning. It looked right out over the mountains, and catching the sunrise and sunset from there made the whole trip feel even more special. The staff were all really friendly and helpful,……

“Room especially the toilet was huge and comfortable. They also gave very large towels which was great. Only gitch as the housekeepinb fell short on the last day - the bins werent emptied and the floor towel was not replaced.”

“The hosts were anonymous and the tv unusable. The booklet re tv was totally incomprehensible. Clear instructions on how to use the two controllers and tune the tv would have been helpful. The room was fine and the help yourself breakfast exceeded my expectations. ”

He went above and beyond for us...Carrying our cases up to the top floor...And down again when we left. Plus he does a cracking packed lunch. Our room was more than adequate, comfy and clean. The only gripe from our point of view is that we'd prefer proper cups and spoons...”

“I was a little nervous, I’ll admit, due to other more negative reviews, but there really was nothing to be worried about. The room was great, it wasn’t noticeably unclean or anything like that. Bed was comfortable, area was quiet, and I have no complaints. The staff were welcoming and polite, and the food was really good also. The surrounding village is beautiful, and the Rhydd Ddu path up Mount Snowdon is one bus stop away (or 8KM walk), which is a bonus. ”

“My son and I booked a two nights stay, as we were walking around snowdonia. Claire was a lovely host and very helpful. The room was good and we had our own bathroom and toilet. The breakfast was incredible both mornings too! We will be going back.”
