“Beautiful hotel, great staff and great dining options. The spa is really good but you have to pay £25 if you want to use it from 9 to 5.”

“My room (#4) was a massive room on the ground floor. Everything was lovely. The bed was comfortable. I especially liked the extra floor fan and the common area. Just beware that the windows in #4 overlook the small parking lot. The staff was helpful and the breakfast was delicious. ”

“The property is ideally suited for events at Venue Cymru, which is next door. We had a family room, fronting the promenade with a fantastic view of the bay.The hotel was renovated last year and there were many thoughtful touches. The usb ports are great for people who, like me, frequently forget to take a plug. There was an extensive selection of extras, and the milk was in the fridge. “Room 105 was great. It was spotlessly clean and had everything we wanted. The Belmont is in a great position, a short walk from the tram station or main shopping street. The pier and the promenade are across from the hotel. There is a lovely seating area outside the front of the hotel that catch's the sun until late and is a great place to enjoy a drink and watch the world go by. There was a great selection available for breakfast* and the cooked breakfasts were good. *The only minor quibbles……

“Ideal location. Hotel is situated on the prom not far from the theatre. It was a bank holiday weekend and this was one of the few hotels not to heavily inflate their price. We had a room on the top, 4th floor, so the views were excellent. Ensuite shower room was compact, but certainly more than adequate. Facilities for tea and coffee were provided with more than sufficient sachets for our entire stay, unlike many chains where you might manage a couple of drinks. Like many seafront hotels in……

“Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Rooms were nice with AC as you can’t open the windows due to secondary glazing. I ate at the pub restaurant for dinner which was nice. Menu wasnt huge, but tasty. I found the rooms hard to find due to the colour coded way to track where they are and what floor they were on. Will use again, may even take the family and the dog!
