“Room was fine, but property is for sale, not told there is no available food in the evening and no cooked breakfast, web site is vague about this.”

“The staff and food were really good at The Bulkeley but the hotel itself is really quite shabby. It is in desperate need of redecorating and new furnishings. ”

“Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Rooms were nice with AC as you can’t open the windows due to secondary glazing. I ate at the pub restaurant for dinner which was nice. Menu wasnt huge, but tasty. I found the rooms hard to find due to the colour coded way to track where they are and what floor they were on. Will use again, may even take the family and the dog! Thanks”

“The hosts were anonymous and the tv unusable. The booklet re tv was totally incomprehensible. Clear instructions on how to use the two controllers and tune the tv would have been helpful. The room was fine and the help yourself breakfast exceeded my expectations. ”

“Stayed in the Hall itself with a Mountain View room with a super comfy four poster bed. Great quiet location and lovely accommodation. Polite welcoming staff served us throughout our stay and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel. ”

“I was a little nervous, I’ll admit, due to other more negative reviews, but there really was nothing to be worried about. The room was great, it wasn’t noticeably unclean or anything like that. Bed was comfortable, area was quiet, and I have no complaints. The staff were welcoming and polite, and the food was really good also. The surrounding village is beautiful, and the Rhydd Ddu path up Mount Snowdon is one bus stop away (or 8KM walk), which is a bonus. ”

“Stay here for 2 nights while we did the walk up snowdonia .The room was basic no frills but i wasn't expecting anything other than that. very clean and tidy. beds were comfortable, good shower and the use of a kettle and a kitchen unit on site which has everything you need. the staff were very helpful with local knowledge and tips on where to go etc. last but not least is the amazing views of the countryside. we must have said wow , look at that atleast 50 times. beautiful place . would love……
