“I was a little nervous, I’ll admit, due to other more negative reviews, but there really was nothing to be worried about. The room was great, it wasn’t noticeably unclean or anything like that. Bed was comfortable, area was quiet, and I have no complaints. The staff were welcoming and polite, and the food was really good also. The surrounding village is beautiful, and the Rhydd Ddu path up Mount Snowdon is one bus stop away (or 8KM walk), which is a bonus. ”

The room was small but well equipped and very clean with an excellent supply of shampoo, conditioner,body lotion etc. Tea and coffee making facilities were good and plentiful . Quiet location although on main road..The only improvement could have been if breakfast had been available. ”

“We arrived at 3pm on a Sunday afternoon, the team were busy and to be expected. We were then attended to within a few minutes. Polite and friendly and shown to our room. It was a building near the pub. Parking was free and able to park outside the pub. Its all situated in a square,like a market square surrounded by big granite hills. We were shown to our room, was given a birthday card from the hotel chap which was a nice touch. The room was surfice and had ensuite. Outside window had all……

“The room is clean and comfortable, but the WiFi signal is very weak, and usually disconnected... The hotel is very near to Harlech Castle, just 3 minute walking distance, but it also means that the hotel situates on the hill as well... So it is better call hotel come to rail station to pick you up.... Dinner and breakfast are delicious~~ ”

“Very doggy friendly hotel. Friendly staff. Made our dog very welcome. Comfy bed. Room was clean. Lovely location. Food was nice but not cheap. Quality over quantity so this pushed the bill up as we had pudding too. ”
