“Pictures do not do this stay justice. This is a converted farmhouse so the stay itself is a no frills type of place. If you are looking for 5 star hotel quality amenities this isn’t for you. But if you are looking for a wonderful Scottish experience that includes a drive through quaint villages, beautiful farmland, amazing cliffside views, and friendly hospitality then this place certainly will not disappoint. “Its difficult to recommend the property, as it was quite worn in many places, but offered moderate value for money overall. The cleaning of the property needs improvement, as we had to clean rancid milk from the fridge on arrival, which was pretty unreasonable as a starting point, and bathrooms and ither areas were worn and not particulalrly clean. The towels provided were worn, the bathrooms and fitting were old and somewhat dilapidated in areas. Radiators in some areas of the house didnt……

“Location, location. If you don't mind winding down a farm road for almost a mile through woodland and field, opening and closing livestock gates along the way this is the place for you! The house is warm and cozy and superbly outfitted. The beds are very comfortable. The lawn and gardens are bountiful, with canal paths and woodland walks right outside your door. We made good use of the wood fired hot tub, the outdoor fire and even the barrel grill. Our contact with the property manager was……
