“Our original room, The Robert Burns Siute, was dark, and faced the road with a view of the dumpsters. After complaining immediately to the manager, he booked us into room 2, Mary Queen of Scott’s, a beautiful room facing the loch with breath-taking views. Heated floors in the bathroom, a comfortable king bed and excellent service rounded out our experience. The loud 1970s music blaring during our adequate dinner was unpleasant though.”

“We stayed 2 days and it was excellent. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. The large drawing room that overlooks Loch Melfort was also available for us to use which we enjoyed. We enjoyed a delicious 4 course dinner on the evening of our arrival prepared and served by our host Mathew. This was our first visit to Melfort House and hopefully we will be back again soon.”

“Great location right on the west highland way. Upon arrival we were made extremely welcome and showed to our lovely large bedroom. The room was very clean and was very well stocked with beverage making facilities plus chocolate bars and cold drinks in the fridge. The twin beds were very comfortable and the room was quiet. We were asked upon arrival what we would like for breakfast and what time we would like it. It was fair to say that it was a breakfast for champions. We started with a large……
