“The promise of farm animals was the major attraction for us when we chose to stay at The Farmhouse. And we can’t overpraise how fun and interesting our stay turned out to be. Owners Kris and Francisco care for chickens, geese, a Tom Turkey, ponies, goats, and even a 140 lb tortoise, many of them rescues. We loved watching them and scattering feed for the chickens and Mr. Big. The Farmhouse is a charming, relaxing and fun cottage. Kris welcomed us as we arrived, and made us a present of freshly……

“Stayed for a few nights of wine tasting and golf. Location was perfect, walk to many places with wine tasting & walked to dinners every night. Lots of cute shops for clothes and souvenirs. Great golf course close by - unit was clean, fully equipped and perfect for 2 couples, especially since there were 2 primary suites - one upstairs and one downstairs. Lovely patio for evening cocktails. Would highly recommend. ”

“Secluded, quiet, beautiful 2 bedroom former equestrian tack barn in a grove of avocado trees. Perfect for us. Very simple. Close to everything, but no road noise. Beautiful view of the hills and ocean. ”

“The property was tranquil and we enjoyed our evening on the porch. We stopped in Buellton for groceries and ate breakfast in the kitchen in the morning. At the midpoint of a two week vacation it was nice to do a load of laundry with a good setup for that.”

“Love going up to the Santa Ynez/Los Olivos area! Such a relaxing quiet place to go with lots of fun wineries to try when we want to go out and about. This is at least our 3rd time spending the 4th of July holiday up there away from all the loud illegal fireworks in our area that terrify our dogs (they love it up there too!).”
