“It’s a good little hotel with very clean and affordable rooms (at least off season). The older gentleman staffing the desk during the day was very friendly and helpful. The location is quite central to see the old town though just a tad far to walk from a metro station with luggage on cobblestones or narrow sidewalks. The hotel is in a relatively quiet area but it’s an old building so when there is sound outside you hear it. The old stone walls were quaint. The bathroom was nicely renovated, hot……

The transportation details provided by the hotel is so clear that I was able to arrive the hotel easily by public transportation without any issue. “Villa Florentine was nice but not as upscale as some of the other Relais & Chateau properties I have stayed at. The room service breakfast was not very good and overpriced. The layout of the suite was difficult with the bed upstairs and the bathroom downstairs. The staff were extremely accommodating and friendly.”

“I stayed there for 3 nights. My room had 2 beds, a double and a single. From the first night I slept in a double room and was attacked by bugs, I didn't know what kind of bugs it was. Told reception the next morning and they promised they would spray the room. The same thing happened the second night, and I ended up putting the tower on the single bed to sleep”
