“The Flamingo was the perfect home base for our mini-moon in Asheville! We had the best time hiking, visiting the Biltmore, going to the Grove Park Inn, and eating our way around town. And we loved that our dog Griffin could join us!”

“Very unique and eclectic, helping you know you are on vacation and not in sleek hotel. The gurgling of the creek all night long (window strategically located was left open at night: heavenly. This may not be the best choice for someone needing to make trip(s) to the restroom throughout the night, since the bedroom is upstairs.”

“I live near Durham and my dear friend is near Atlanta. We met up for the weekend for some much needed downtime at this cozy cottage. It’s so peaceful and well-appointed. A short walk to downtown Weaverville with its cute shops and restaurants and a short drive to downtown Asheville. It was perfect.”

“The cottage was immaculate. We really enjoyed shooting on the patio listening to the Pigeon River running right out front while we were drinking our coffee every morning. ”

“We stayed here when it was owned by another person and really enjoyed the stay. This time we got there and one of the TV's was missing, a call to the manager got that resolved quickly but the person that put it in said we had to use our ROKU account to use the TV. The TV in the bedroom was already set-up with ROKU so not sure why we had to log on. One of the bedside lamps had no bulb, mentioned that but it wasn't resolved. Lamp in the living room went on and off on it's own, mentioned but……

“Small and pleasant log cabin in a less-travelled area about 40 minutes East of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Cabin was clean and organized when we arrived. Enjoyed 7 days of silence and nature during our stay. Saw a total 6 bears (not at the cabin, just during the trip)!”
