“We had an amazing weekend at Braden’s Ridge retreat. The house was immaculate and had everything you need. We were in town visiting my son at Mars Hill University and the location was perfect. We couldn’t have booked a better home for our long weekend. ”

“We enjoyed the easy access to the highway. There were plenty of dishes and pans to cook meals. The grocery store is only 8 minutes away. Also, the porch right off the kitchen was nice for enjoying the sun and morning coffee. There were several board game options for evening activities. Two things to note for planning a stay at this home are there is not a dishwasher and the pull out couch is made out of assembling couch cushions, so it is not a sleeper sofa. ”

“It was just my girl and I for her bday weekend. It was a perfect spot, with a great location. The kitchen was stocked with all cooking necessities, not to mention the fresh eggs they left for us. It was a very homely environment, we enjoyed it so much. ”

“This is the third time our church has rented the property in some capacity from Joe and it is always a joy being there. Joe is the ideal host, readily available, quick to respond, and extending warmth and welcome. We always recommend going to his food truck on the property too--delicious BBQ! Cannot recommend Joe as a host or this property highly enough. Truly a joy to stay there every time!”

“This fabulous home has everything you could ever want or need for celebrating a family reunion! Our group ranged from 3-93 yrs of age and everyone had a fun yet relaxing time. Mary and Quint are gracious hosts and made us feel like we had come home. The home is beautiful, the grounds filled with goats and sheep and two very friendly dogs. We were able to completely unplug from the craziness of our lives and delve into the beauty of the NC mountainscape. Highly recommend this home and make sure……

“We (2 seniors and 3 girls - 5 to 11) had the BEST week at the Farm Barn. We were enchanted with the baby pigs and goats, the swing was a huge hit and Farmer Steve was patient and allowed the girls to help him. We will never forget our week. Thank you. It was hot part of the week and not having A/C made it sticky but it truly was the only negative. And we would not have traded the experience.”

“Whoa! Cannot begin to explain the beauty of this newly renovated farmhouse. I stay in a lot of vacation rentals throughout the year and this, by far, is at the top of my list. The host did such a great job with updating the farmhouse, with still leaving its 1915s charm. The houses' decor is a boho whimsical dream! The rental is very well supplied: iron, blow dryer, laundry machines, shampoo/conditioner, espresso machine&&pods :), cleaning supplies, and my favorite part tons and tons of comfy……

“Small and pleasant log cabin in a less-travelled area about 40 minutes East of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Cabin was clean and organized when we arrived. Enjoyed 7 days of silence and nature during our stay. Saw a total 6 bears (not at the cabin, just during the trip)!”
