“When we arrived at the lodge we were supposed to be staying in there was another family there who said the lodge they were supposed to be staying in was occupied so they were given this lodge. We rang the contact number and he apologised, we were provided the key code for another lodge and when i opened the door that was occupied as there was a dog in there. We finally got put in a lodge and went to look at the hot tub to find it was empty and covered in spiders. The lodge is advertised with……

“Perfect location for walking, as on bus route to beauty spots from which you can walk back. Brilliant to have plenty of parking and an exceptionally large apartment, recently refurbished, with all amenities. Only downside was staff made a lot of noise under my room until 1am. Otherwise ideal with reasonably priced food and open fires at the pub downstairs. ”

“The property is situated in a beautiful location handy for Bakewell and Buxton. The room was spacious and the bed was comfy although the pillows were not great. There was lots of storage for our things. The bathroom was also a good size but I was disappointed to find a couple of long black hairs on the floor! The staff were pleasant and efficient. The breakfast was plentiful and we also are there in the evening whi h was tasty and good value for money. There is plenty of parking space.”

“Plenty of outdoor space, many many tables. The rooms had lots of space and were fairly modern. Little things could have made it better, there were no plugs for charging by the bed and the toilet seat wouldn't stay upright. Other than that, it was good value”
