“This is a lovely hotel with exceptionally helpful and friendly staff who seemed to take a personal interest in all their guests. It was a pleasure to stay there and our room was beautifully comfortable and spacious. The only drawback was the long climb from the town centre if walking! ”

“Superb accommodation. Very clean, comfortable and spacious. Great shower. Perfect location10 minutes stroll to town and 30 mins walk to the brewery. Best thing about this place though is the staff - amazing - really friendly, helpful and kind. Great pub serving Jaipur, which is my favourite beer. Didn't take the opportunity to enjoy the live music as we were there for rest but we would take it up next time we stay. Btw don't be put off by late night music. The rooms are very very quiet. Window……

“We enjoyed our stay in this lovely apartment. Ideally located for our Alton Towers trip. Lots of nice restaurants in Leek too. Apartment was very comfortable, beds comfy too with crisp white linen and towels. Good instructions for entry. Some more information about bins etc would have been good. WiFi was a bit iffy at times but didn’t hugely impact on us. Connection instructions weren’t correct but we worked it out eventually. Would consider staying again when next visiting Alton Towers. ”

“A real find! A pub in the middle of rural Kettleshulme concealed an excellent restaurant and very comfortable rooms. The bedroom was very well equipped - including a built in toothbrush charger!”
