“Easy check-in and friendly staff showing me to my room and instructing me to let him know if there was anything I required during my stay. Room, which is separate to the main pub, was adequate in size and facilities with a very good shower in the bathroom. The hotel is close to the market square where there is a good choice of restaurants, shops and cafes, and it's easy to find breakfast if you decide not to have it in the hotel. It's also only a short 10-15 minute walk to the lower town with……

“The property was cold and the device to set the temperature seemed to be out of battery. It was somewhat hard to find, and when we entered there was a vacuum cleaner sitting in the hallway. Parking can be hard to find, and the owners' emails seemed to be automatic and not responsive.”

“It is a lovely B&B. A little remote but beautiful views all around. Stayed two nights in the Boots room. Nice big room with large double bed, little sofa, couple of chairs and a gorgeous deep window sill, perfect for the morning cuppa and views across the fields. Bathroom was a good size as was the shower. Nothing worse than a tiny shower cubicle and this was a nice big space. They are horses and alpacas at the property. “Never been to Buxton and was to attend a wedding at the Devonshire Dome. Chose the hotel for proximity and definitely did not disappoint. We were close to the centre and within walking distance to the major attractions and local pubs and cafes . Just across is a beautiful park and Pavilion. Just happens to be a local super hero event too , so lovely stay and nice first visit ”

“When we arrived at the lodge we were supposed to be staying in there was another family there who said the lodge they were supposed to be staying in was occupied so they were given this lodge. We rang the contact number and he apologised, we were provided the key code for another lodge and when i opened the door that was occupied as there was a dog in there. We finally got put in a lodge and went to look at the hot tub to find it was empty and covered in spiders. The lodge is advertised with……
