“This is an unique stay. The building is delightful and the staff most accommodating. The room was enjoyable, but there was very little space along the sides of the bed. The sloped ceilings were a bit troublesome at times, but they did give the room character. Access to the third floor was only by staircase. The only real disappointment was the inconvenient parking. I could easily stay there again, but I would request the second floor.”

“This is a very beautiful, old style property, well kept and well cared for. At first we were worried about the check in process since we do not have internet while travelling, but it worked out well (it is provided by the property once you get there). They are constantly monitoring your needs and responding properly. We struggled with air conditioning, which was very high on a fairly cool day when we arrived, but the instructions worked out fine. Small bathroom, but there is an ante-bathroom……

“Run by the kindest people (and friendliest cats!) in all of Salem, and could not possibly be more centrally located! You can walk everywhere from here, and you have a front row seat to any events in the square - it's literally right across the street. Parking in Salem is at a premium, and we are driving a crew cab truck to make it even worse, but Matt went WELL above and beyond to make sure we got a great spot. Do note - it's a lovely old house, but like most old houses, it does have steps, ……
