“Very nice place..the house is beautifully decorated and very clean. This place has everything you need and more. We enjoyed catching crabs of the dock and cooking them. The landscaping and grounds are nicley done. We all had a great time. The host did an exceptional job at making us feel welcomed ”

“We enjoy the area and boating in the bay and on the ocean side. The restaurants are good and we generally take a day down at Virginia Beach/Back Bay and a day up at Chincoteague/Assateague. They week we managed four solid days on the water. ”

“We had some difficulty with the lock to enter but the owner walked us through it. We also had some difficulty with the sound on the tv in the living area and got locked out of the one in the bedroom. Otherwise the stay was great and we were well pleased with the property.”

“We had such a wonderful and relaxing week here! We loved the private waterfront deck - from our morning coffee to evening sunsets (which were stunning!) we spent most of our time there. The cottage was inviting and clean with nice beach decor and a very well-equipped kitchen and the cottage had just about anything you could need. “Perfect if you are looking for a quiet vacation away from everything. The beach was beautiful and private. The house is small as advertised, but big enough for a small family. It does have all the basics, but I would not plan on cooking there. Multiple restaurants about 20 minutes away and if you are willing to drive further, Cape Charles is about 40 minutes and has restaurants and shops. Christi was very nice and hospitable, great with kids.”
