“This was our favorite accommodation during our long trip in Italy. The breakfast was amazing, and it was such a shame we didn’t have enough time to enjoy it properly due to our schedule. The kind staff even packed us some coffee and water for the road, which was so thoughtful and touching. The hotel is part of a stunning winery, and we regret not booking the Mastrojanni winery tour—we had other tours lined up, but if you stay here, definitely join their afternoon or next-morning tour. “Amazing personnel always taking great care of you, the place is 20 min. Drive from Montalcino, has well maintained pool, breakfast very good, laundry available and restaurant in site. Self-parking area. Great location if you want to disconnect and enjoy breathtaking views of the Tuscany area.”

“This is the first night we stayed in Toscana. The hotel is a real castle located on the top of the hill. The beautiful landscape of agricultural view seen from the hotel was panoramic and breathtaking. The family suite was cozy, containing one living room and two bedrooms. The thermal swimming pool was fantastic and spa center was amazing. Breakfast was flourish. The dinner was also good but overpriced actually. As a whole, I highly recommend staying in Catello di Velona as you visit Toscana.”

The spacious apartment and the nature around the property as well as the proximity to Montalcino were perfect for a relaxing time. The little winery was excellent and the wine tasted really good.
