“I love the water—ocean, lake, whatever. Having our back door open to a canal/marina was terrific, and being only a block off the beach made it all the more amazing. We took long daily walks, on the beach, up the road to John's Pass, through nearby neighborhoods, or all the above. It helped that the temperature was 100 degrees warmer than at home (counting wind chill!). The owners are great and very responsive. The delicious homemade ice cream next door was a huge bonus! ”

Vehicle is optional. Ocean Sands is an exceptionally well maintained property We would be remiss if I didn’t mention our hosts Ken & Marjorie who made a special effort to come to welcome us and make sure that we had everything we needed. “Found out 2 hours before check in this is no contact property . Which was fine but the parking needed more direction . Called the property office and person that answered could not direct me to the parking lot . I have landmark at John’s pass villages and she had no idea what I was saying . Had to refer back to our GPS. The property emailed a parking pass and then we had to figure out where the rooms were on the 3 rd floor . Better communication or instructions SHOULD be supplied .
