“I liked that it was near public transportation so perfect for any kind of trip you want to do . The room was nice and there was everything in the apartment what you need for a reasonable price. I didn’t like the late check in hours that much but it is doable . The apartment has a kitchen so you can prepare your own meals . I would definitely book again if I would go back to Madrid ”

This is a very cozy space and we felt like we were staying at the home of a beloved relative. We requested some accommodations and recommendations and Carmen was able to provide everything requested! Beautifully decorated apartment, with lovely artwork pieces including images of swirling Dervishes, tapestries, vases… A selection of great books from James Baldwin to Amin Maalouf, art books on Madrid architecture, Goya’s paintings… very comfortable bedroom, and so on. “la chaudière de l'appartement est tombée en panne et notre hôte est intervenu dans la 1/2 heure et a remis la chaudière en fonctionnement. Nous avons apprécié la bibliothèque avec ses livres d'art et ces livres en anglais pour débutant. Les chambres avec des doubles fenêtres masquant le bruit de la rue et les commodes et penderie dans les chambres pour ranger le linge. Les commerces et restaurants au pied de l'immeuble Un seul regret le lit parental en 140 et non en 160 mais un matelas néanmoins……

It was truly in the center of everything, a little market across the doorway- very kind and fun workers there, and grocery just a block down- great food, and a pharmacy 1-2 blocks down- off of Calle Prado.
