“I hesitate to sound too over the top in my praise of the Carriage House in Croton, but it’s difficult not to. The space is so comfortable, cozy, and filled with beautiful Mexican art pieces every where you look. Nothing has been forgotten by the hosts, who are charming and gracious, while allowing guests absolute privacy.The Carriage House is surrounded by natural beauty everywhere you look. “For the dogs: our dogs enjoyed the big fenced-in backyard. There's also a HUGE fenced-in dog run a few minutes drive away. For the humans: My wife and I enjoyed the gaming options (Xbox, Playstation, and an arcade machine). There's a nice little town a few minutes drive away, with a supermarket, CVS, and decent coffee and food options.”

“It was perfect for myself and my 2 dogs. We stayed 2 months. It has an amazing view of the lake. Everything you need was available. I would definitely stay again. You will love the nice quiet area. I was especially fascinated by the 2 guinea hens that roamed the neighborhood. They eat all the insects in the yards.Highly recommend ”

“Overall this is the cleanest and brightest/cheeriest vacation rental I have ever stayed at. The view of the lake is amazing. There’s plenty of outside space to hang out, relax, and even cook on the grill. The kitchen has microwave, stove, dishwasher, toaster, fridge/freezer. Everything was very clean. Tony was very friendly and responded quickly to my questions. The bed is super firm, linens are provided, the kitchen has cookware, dishes, cups & utensils. There is a dresser that has two empty……

“I have brought my 1.5 year old baby girl to stay in Chambers. The heater was out while the outside temperature was below zero. Clark's feedback was cold as well, he told us to turn off air condition to gether warm air instead of changing room. Not to mention the actual room did meet the picture shown here (room looked old and bed is smaller than expected). We check out the very next day instead of three days that originally planned, and did paid the first night. Overall bad experience!!!”
