“Accommodation itself was excellent. Very good condition and nice and clean. Location was great and all parts of Eton and Windsor were walkable. Communication was great from the property itself. NOT from Hotels.com who were hard to get through to and not very helpful. Night time noise wasn’t great being right on the road and near pub/restaurant. It was hot so windows had to stay open. ”

The finishings on the building was amazing and consistent throughout and was echoed by the quality at every angle, from the welcome, to food, to service, you name it. Wonderful relaxed atmosphere and a lovely place to be. We stayed during a very quiet period out of holidaty season and were still made to feel very welcome, were always asked how we were, and were very aware that any member of staff would go above and beyond to help……

“Staying at the iconic Cliveden house was wonderful and staff & service were fantastic. We enjoyed the spa and swimming in the famous pool BUT we were rather underwhelmed by our dinner. I ordered sole and this was decidedly average especially given the prices. Breakfast was lovely though! ”

“Having stayed in Eton several times, always wanted to stay at Gilbey’s. Stayed in studio suite and it was fabulous. A safe area and close to Windsor Castle, shopping , many pubs and restaurants. Staff was lovely. Will definitely stay there again. ”
