“We had a truly wonderful experience at The Neeld Arms. Mark, the proprietor, was incredibly courteous and an outstanding host throughout our stay. From the moment we arrived, he made sure every detail was taken care of. Dinner was exceptional. We had a delicious chicken burger and a perfectly cooked fish and chips, both served hot and fresh. There was also plenty of fresh bread and butter on the table, which we really appreciated. Everything was full of flavour and clearly made with quality……

“Located in the beautiful Cotswolds lies this accommodation. Run by incredibly friendly people. Parking was easy. The room we rented was spaciou and well maintained. Especially considering the building is quite old. It’s not a hotel. You’re staying in somebody’s house. Entering through a side entrance, passing eggs for sale. Having to remove your outdoor shoes when going upstairs. It all adds to the experience of what’s it like living there. We had a great time and definitely recommend staying……

“No shower in the en suite bathroom was disappointing - just a shower head on the taps. But the food was perfect and the staff super friendly, helpful and professional.”

“Nice village hotel and our check in and room were good on the face of it. Other than the guy who checked us in, staff was generally rude. We had booked for breakfast at 08:00 on the first morning, and having travelled the previous day from Asia ended up waking earlier and found ourselves waiting in the breakfast room around 7:10, hoping to be able to request breakfast at 7:30 when it opened. We were greeted by a man in a hurry, brusquely telling us over his shoulder whilst rushing around doing……

“A perfect hotel for a visit to the Cotswolds. The Bell is an absolute perfect place to stay and the food & service was amazing.”

“Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast waitress particularly so. Pool/spa/gym area is smaller than expected and looking tired. Evening meal was disappointing and quality did not match the prices. A strawberry parfait with one small strawberry cut into four alongside a cube of ice cream for £10? Steak was quite small and bland. Peppercorn sauce was very thin/watery. Breakfast was great though. ”
