“We had a wonderful time here when we visited New River Gorge with our kids. The location is convenient and easy to find, the house is spacious and comfortable, and the host is responsive and made every aspect of our stay easy peasy. Highly recommend visiting Fayetteville and staying here when you do.”

“We stayed at the Sparrows Nest as a stop over point for a longer trip. This is by far the best VRBO experience we've had. The house was beautiful, set amongst trees so we could bird watch from the living room. The amenities in the house were on par with a 4 star hotel as well. We couldnt have been happier.”

“This property was above and beyond our expectations! Completely spotless, our compliments to your cleaning service. Lovely decor, very comfy and welcoming. The house was very well equipped with everything we needed. We really appreciated the welcome bag, with snacks and water for all four of us. Although we were only there for several days, we took advantage of the patio to have coffee in the morning, and cocktails in the evening. It was a great location, easily accessible to the Bridge,……

“We came in for my daughters White Coat Ceremony at the PA college. We stayed at the home with my parents. The home is beautiful, in a great, safe neighborhood, and well stocked with everything you need. Would recommend to anyone staying in the area.”

“The cabin was very cozy, relaxing with nice beds. The area is very nice, and it is very close to the scenic bridge. Was a little disappointed that some of the basic supplies were not provided like aluminum foil, scissors, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. For the two-night price that was expected based on other cabins we have rented in the past. There is a store Faily close, and we just ran out for a supply trip. Overall, I would recommend this place. ”

“Great proximity to New River Gorge bridge and the Canyon Rim visitor center along with Adventures on the Gorge resort. Easy walk to Swift General store (no sidewalks). Easy drive into Fayetteville. The house itself works nicely for 2 people who enjoy their own space (2 rooms with en-suite bathrooms) along with a 3rd bedroom in between. Clean house with 60’s vibe furniture and fun, funky wall projector for streaming entertainment.”

“The house is stunning inside, thankfully hasn’t undergone any crazy remodeling to remove its character. The pool was gated and locked of during our visit, but none of us had planned on using it so that wasn’t a huge setback for us. If you have verizon, you’ll have terrible signal at this property. Location very close to tourist sites including New River Bridge, Ace adventures, and downtown Fayetteville restaurants. Was a great stay with our kids.”

“We booked a 3 night stay. The host was wonderful and began communicating with us before our stay to make sure we had everything we needed and even checked on us after check in. If you are looking for a cozy cabin that is off the beaten path with a 20-30 minute commute to Summersville Lake this place is for you. It reminds me of Grandmas house growing up with its rustic mountain charm. ”

“Very clean and cozy. The outside temps were never warmer than 25 F but the inside was always warm and comfy. We could stream on the wifi, and we also had cell service. The owner was responsive to any questions. GPS took us right where we needed to be, and it was dark.”
