“I was looking for a cozy cabin to spend a week with my family during Christmas time. This cabin caught my attention for having over 100 reviews! Our family had a wonderful time, the cabin had everything; the beds and bed linens were exceptionally comfortable, extra blankets available in the closets should you need some extra warmth. “Our 5 day stay in the Vandalia cabin was absolutely wonderful. My husband and I were looking for seclusion and relaxation for our Anniversary. Well we got exactly that during our stay. We couldn’t get enough of the views from the back porch or from the picturesque hicking trails. Pervis was a great host and was super responsive to any and all of our questions. We can not wait to go back to the wild and wonderful state of West Virgina and the Vandalia cabin. Till next time. ”

We loved the open concept living, dining, kitchen area where we could all hangout and the 3 bedrooms where we could each retreat for "quiet time". Hurricane Helene rained down on us so we couldn't enjoy the porch or yard but it looked like a nice spot to hang out if the weather cooperates. While the property is close to town, walking on King Avenue is a little risky -- there are no sidewalks or even shoulders to get out of……

“We had a great time seeing all the sites near the New River Gorge area. This cabin was nice and cozy, very clean. Being able to turn the gas heater up a bit after being outside in the cool weather sure does warm the bones. Cabin is on a quiet dead end drive. Road is narrow and had a small washout from all the rain, my only complaint but not Toms fault.”
