“We had the pleasure of staying in the Pleasure Lake Retreat House. The home is situated on a small lake and has everything a group could ask for to keep entertained. It comfortably slept six people with room and beds to spare. There is a pool table, dart board, ping pong table, fishing poles, basketballs and a hoop and board games. We never got bored and would love to come back on our next visit to the area.”

“The Depot is an amazing quaint and charming gem in the heart of Amherst. The property is newly renovated and very clean and peaceful. The owner is very easy to communicate with and very accommodating. If you need to stay in Amherst this is the place to stay! Every little detail from the furnishing to the surroundings is excellent. Would highly recommend!”

“Very small cabin; luckily, it was just the two of us, and we only stayed for two nights before heading up north. I would not recommend this for more than two people; it was very cramped. Don't bother trying to use the stove or trying to cook or anything like that; it's just way too cramped. But other than that, it was clean, easy to find and access, located literally right on the river, and just down the street from all the bars and restaurants. “Overall,not bad,could use some work.”Llittle stuff”more for owners,no disrespect.Pictures in listing not accurate.Deck not like pictures at all.Deck, first sight after opening gate.Unfortunately,not good first impression. “Landscaping”in pictures,pretty much non-existent.Furniture & cushions scattered,cushions a little moldy.Looked drab,unwelcoming.Hot tub,not in listing but in notebook,no water,smelled horrible.Basement is really just a basement with beds,and some spiders.Felt a little……
