“Was nice skiing but the shanty creek resort in general did not have convenient or good restaurants or other things to do-that was a disappointment ”

“Perfect cabin for a quick ski getaway. Enough room for 4 adults 4 kids to sleep comfortably and a sweet arcade game for the kids. Small issue with roof leaking that the owner called us about ahead of time, it was nice to be aware of that before arriving.”

“Once we explored the cabin and property, everyone agreed that this place was the best placed we ever stayed. Starting with meeting the hosts (Jason and Nicole) for a quick rundown of the property, btw the nicest hosts and very responsive if you have any questions, they showed us around and even set up the fire pit and fireplace all we had to do was light it up and enjoy. Not to outshine the hosts but the property is the real star. From the views, the fire pit/place, the river, the cozy feel and……

“Only downsize was the construction noise during the week from the neighbor's property on the north (new construction framing in progress). For us an inconvenience, but when house is built, the problem goes away. Would have been nice to be given a heads-up before we arrived. Being able to bring family dog was a plus.”
