“Our accommodation at Waves at Surfside was beautiful! The room view was perfect & the staff were very accommodating and friendly. We had a great time there with Breakas within close distance for food and cocktails on the beach front. We loved the private pool, the villa was very clean upon arrival & had anything we may have needed. I’d absolutely recommend the stay to others! ”
“We had a great 7 nights at Mangoes Resort. The staff are friendly and very helpful with any queries you have and helping with transportation. Buses are pretty easy to catch from the front of the resort and they have drivers always available.
The location is a little further from the main streets of Port Villa than we expected. It is walkable but isn’t flat and we wouldn’t suggest walking it late at night.
The resort is not directly on the lagoon and has no water access. For us and others……
“I had a very nice stay here! My room was super clean and comfortable and the property was filled with things to do and near the city center. Probably the best place I stayed at while in Port Vila!”
“No hot water the first night, very old room, noisy, poor quality breakfast, not good value for money, front gate and reception close at 9PM so unable to access the carpark after that time.”
“fantastic location for large group getaway - Port Vila still in state of disrepair which limited the options to eat/shop off island but the island itself is in fantastic location”
“環境優雅,寧靜舒適。
I appreciate the staff in Nasama Resort so much. They are kind and helpful. Especially the manager, very smart and willing to help. I have a wonderful holiday here.”
“Great location on Erakor Lagoon, close to town, easy to get a local bus. Manager and staff all friendly and helpful. A wonderful place for a relaxing Vanuatu holiday. ”
“Very easy to water taxi back and forth to the main land (which might even be walkable at low tide). Room was clean and staff were all very hospitable.”
“We had an overwater bungalow which was lovely with a view over the lagoon. It would have been good if there were steps down to the water from the balcony. The coffee machine was a nice touch. The resort was understaffed for the people here and the food is average and definitely not cheap. The staff were lovely, but there were not enough of them. I watched the Director of food and beverage when someone complained about the lack of staff stand by and watch while the lovely man in the bar worked,……
“It is quite a nice experience to have stayed there for 10 days. The owners and the staffs there were really friendly, and responded to my requests immediately. The door nub was not working well, but I have no problem leaving my stuff in the room while I was away for meetings. It is a bit far from downtown, and after 9pm it is quite a challenge to get a bus to go back to that direction. However it has a really nice restaurant, and the rib eye there is the best I have ever had.”
“A great room and nice enough overall but the "hike" from and to reception is a bit of a downer .... having to rely on the golf car shuttle was a bit frustrating at peak times but the drivers and staff were very cheerful”
“The resort is absolutely beautiful with stunning water views on the bay, beautifully maintained tropical gardens, and cute tropical "fare" bungalows. You have the choice of swimming in the pristine sea or in the lovely swimming pool.
The staff is so dedicated to helping you have the best stay and the manager is very helpful.
We'll come back. ”
“Nice resort with a nice restaurant and helpful staff. The downtown was closed because of the December 2024 earthquake. This wasn't the resort's fault, but it meant we weren't able to see much in the capital city.”
