“We had a great 7 nights at Mangoes Resort. The staff are friendly and very helpful with any queries you have and helping with transportation. Buses are pretty easy to catch from the front of the resort and they have drivers always available. The location is a little further from the main streets of Port Villa than we expected. It is walkable but isn’t flat and we wouldn’t suggest walking it late at night. The resort is not directly on the lagoon and has no water access. For us and others……

“It is quite a nice experience to have stayed there for 10 days. The owners and the staffs there were really friendly, and responded to my requests immediately. The door nub was not working well, but I have no problem leaving my stuff in the room while I was away for meetings. It is a bit far from downtown, and after 9pm it is quite a challenge to get a bus to go back to that direction. However it has a really nice restaurant, and the rib eye there is the best I have ever had.”

“We had an overwater bungalow which was lovely with a view over the lagoon. It would have been good if there were steps down to the water from the balcony. The coffee machine was a nice touch. The resort was understaffed for the people here and the food is average and definitely not cheap. The staff were lovely, but there were not enough of them.
