“This is a hotel that is part of the services. The staff were fab & friendly. Other guests were a tad noisy & there didn't seem to be much sound proofing. I'd definitely recommend upgrading to anything other than a basic room, if there are two of you, our room was compact & bijou. Clean & tidy though I missed the fact you had to put a sign on your door if you wanted housekeeping to enter your room. ”

“We stayed only 1 x night and couldn't be happier. The room was very comfortable and appointed. Dinner was delicious with a good choice on the menu, and there was a really nice atmosphere in the pub, which had outside dining available too. The owners were very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone.”

“We Usually stay in hotels, but decided to stay in a guest house this time. Got to say we were really impressed with Chester house. It was very clean and tidy, the bed was very comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, (in both here and their sister property, Chester court hotel, next door), and the included breakfasts were excellent. “Characterful hotel with lovely spa & gym facilities. The hotel is a bit dated and in need of some referbishments. Our original assigned room was not made up when we got up to it and had to go back to reception. This seemed like a complete shock to the person on reception but the dirty linens were still on the floor, the un-made duvet and pillows were thrown on the bed and there was rubbish and used items from the tea set about the room.
