“The home’s proximity to Bar Harbor and various points of interest in the park itself was great. I only wish we had more time to explore the quiet side. Owner was very responsive and the home was immaculate and thoughtfully appointed. The road noise was not a problem with fans running at night and the windows closed. I would worry about the bedrooms being hot during warmer months, but I would love to return in the Fall sometime!”

“I needed to have some time to unplug and think without the distractions of my home. I packed up my nine-year-old German Shepherd and off we went. The farmhouse was perfect, the instructions with check-in were spot on, and the house is idiotic.I had dinner at Fern and Finn and came back and settled into the house with my book and a glass of wine. Just what I needed.”

“It is a beautiful, spacious house in a gorgeous area! Our family really enjoyed staying here with Acadia & Bar Harbor so close by.There was no air conditioning at the house, which is common for the area, but it made leaving windows & doors open for air flow in the Summer difficult…The house is right off the Main road, so the auto traffic going by is pretty loud, especially with leaving windows open to cool off at night. We did not have garage access, just noting here in case that’s something……

“The house was nice and the owner was great to deal with, she provided a lot of local knowledge on things to do. I will say that it is on a surprisingly busy road. But the horses were great and the family loved to give them apple slices and carrots. Overall I would recommend it to anyone looking for something like this. Also it’s not too far from Bar Harbor and Arcadia.”
