Getting there was part of the adventure—a scenic four-hour drive from the airport, with the final stretch on a gravel road through rain and cows! “I throughly enjoyed my stay at La Posada. It backs up to the national forest and so there was a lot of wildlife around the property. The beach was about 2 blocks away through an easy cut through. Lots of restaurants close. The staff was wonderful and friendly. A cooked breakfast was free. ”

“The included breakfast is amazing—two courses! The bathrooms/showers are very tight in spacing, but there are bigger bathrooms in the attached restaurant section. Those bathrooms/showers are shared by all in the hostel, including those with private rooms (which was fine, never had to wait to use facilities).
