“This property is truly a gem nestled in the rain forest and was a serene experience. You literally have the jungle to yourself. Deborah was great and made sure we had what we needed for our stay. Jose was also amazing and gave us a guided tour of the property and we swam in the waterfall. If you want privacy and an authentic rain forest experience, this is it. I'd love to go back and spend more time there exploring and taking it all in. ”

“Eight of us stayed three nights in late April. We really enjoyed our stay. The accommodations were comfortable and the kitchen was adequately stocked. The beach was less than 50 meters from the front door. We had it completely to ourselves. There was a nice rancho that we were able to use as these are available on a first come basis. “We saw amazing wildlife right from our house. There were monkeys ,and sloth, two of them, deer and toucans, and much more. We also had an amazing view of the Pacific as shown in the pictures. Laura was a great help. She went above and beyond to make our stay fantastic. As mentioned before the driveway is very steep and wouldn’t be the best for people who aren’t good with driving on steep drives. Overall or stay was fantastic and we plan to return.”

“We stayed a week at Casa Luz and enjoyed it to the fullest! The first morning we awoke to a troop of squirrel monkeys, some with babies, on the deck. Their antics were delightful even when one took a dip in the swimming pool. We enjoyed bird watching, seeing toucans, scarlet macaws and many other beautiful birds. “We really enjoyed our stay at Alta Vista. Our villa was well-equipped and spotlessly clean, the beds were comfortable, and there were separate bathrooms (with showers) for each bedroom, which was really convenient. The highlight was the gorgeous sunsets over the Pacific that we watched each evening from our private plunge pool. We grew fond of the brightly colored pair of scarlet macaws living nearby (and frequently flying over us). What could be more "pura vida" than that?”

“Private and quirky property but in a good way. Beautiful setting. Close to everything. Can be a bit buggy at dusk, but again, not troublesome. Reception was phenomenal and VERY welcoming. I'd definitely visit again. ”
