“The owner was great and very responsive to any needs we had. My husband, his brother, my sister-in-law and myself, are all late 60's early 70's. Property might not be ideal for some people our age because of uneven flooring. The layout is a bit funky, but such a great location. The front porch is a lovely place to sit and watch wildlife. The outdoor shower turned out to be great fun. The beds were so comfortable, but I would suggest to this owner to go out and purchase new bedding. The bedding……

“We chose this property because of the number of twin beds. We had 7 ladies in our group. Some of the rooms were small, but we made do. Unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate for outdoor activities. Location is central to all places in the Leelanau Peninsula.”

“One of the best places to stay in Northern Michigan/ Sleeping Bear Dunes area. Tricia was a great host and made our stay comfortable and any issues we had she was super responsive. Great kitchen with lots of gadgets to cook great meals with. Beds were comfortable and the wood fired stove made for cozy mornings in. Location is great. Will definitely be coming back!”

“Owners were very responsive to any need that arose. However, they were aware that loveseat in tiny living room (there was only one other chair, a lazy boy that you couldn't raise the foot on) needed to be replaced and it hadn't been done. Enjoyed the deck and the lake. Good for easy kayaking. Road right behind the cottage was busy on weekends but less so on weekdays. Very accessible to hiking, biking, and Lake Michigan beaches”

“We had a wonderful stay at Sleeping Bear Treehouse! We came with another family. 4 adults and 6 kids. The house was a perfect setup for us, the kids had the rooms and recreational space on the bottom floor and the adults had matching master suits on the main floor. Plenty of space for meals and a nice fire pit area for the evening. Close to Glen Arbor and Sleeping Bear! I would recommend updating the photos to better reflect the house details: bedrooms and kitchen amenities (Keurig etc) and……
