“This is a classic old hotel with nice common area and a great staff. But we stayed in the west wing which I would describe as "tired". It could use a little upgrade. And the balcony could use a good scrub. That said, the bed was large and comfortable, the room was of good size, it was clean, and it was nice to have two sinks in two different spaces.”

“Right next door to an amazing mini golf course this updated old American Inn hotel had comfy beds, soft, clean carpets, many types of carbs for Breakfast, cookies at check in and a great pool and hot tub.The hours were 7-midnight with the last two hours being adult only. Very generous hours I think. The room was quiet, the guests were quiet and the hotel was located in an easy to reach place.there was a good mini fridge, a good microwave and everything worked in the room as advertised. “great location for visiting the Sleeping Bear Dunes national park - right next door to the visitor center. One beach is within walking distance of the Inn and driving to other trails is minimal. Nice small town - walkable area with good local dining options and small shops”

“The place ia really nice for being inexpensive. They have some free breakfast which I didn't even expect. Nothing fancy but for the price and safety with a pool this is an amazing deal and opportunity to stay in Traverse City”
