“If you want to get away from a busy life for a bit, this is the place to go. We really enjoyed the seclusion, it was so quiet and peaceful. The river was running fast so we only got to kayak once, but it was so beautiful. If you are a wildlife person, jackpot! We saw deer, otters, minks, rabbits and hummingbirds are abundant! “This place was the perfect size for our group. We were in Batesville for a clinic. It was a little farther out than I would normally like to stay but we didn’t want to stay in a hotel. Cannot complain about the house. You will like staying here if you like being out away from busy areas. Very quite and peaceful.”

“Extremely clean and well-appointed property! Very comfortable beds and furniture. The outdoor space was private and fully fenced for the dogs. We enjoyed spending time around the firepit. The home was just a few blocks from the court square and it was convenient to anywhere we wanted to go. Communication with the Host was easy-breezy. I am looking forward to spening time at other Fireside Retreats propefties!”
