“Exactly what we wanted, a place with a great view and a lot of peace and quiet. Definitely awd required and recommend some extra ground clearance. Our awd VW made the climb no problem but at the bottom of the drive when you start the serious climb my wife would spot to make sure we didn’t drag the front or get high centered. 440’ of climb in .5 miles, we enjoyed walking every day seeing deer and rabbits and raccoon. We even saw a black bear on the gravel road in the valley. ”

“The property is gorgeous, well-furnished, and clean. We loved the baked goods samples! The separation into two separate units worked for us in general. The only glitch was that we were originally locked out of the lower floor, but a phone call resolved the issue quickly. The location is convent to town and to Biltmore.”

“Felt like home. Clean, quiet, comfortable. Lots to do just minutes away. Great home base for laid back morning, afternoon, or all day excursions - all the shops in downtown Waynesville, the Parkway, Christopher Farms, Lake Junaluska, all highly recommended.”

“We came for a family vacation and had a wonderfuk time! The beds are all comfy! There was a place for everyone to gather or scatter comfortably. The sunsets are out of this world! Be prepared to use Natures AC, if you open all the windows and majn doors ut very pleasant. In July it was mid 60s every morning! The community has alot to do. Bring fishing poles to fish if you want. The house is almost 30 mins from the closest town and up at the top of the mountain. Get necessities before arriving! ”

“The Relax and Play Chalet is the perfect name for this property. It has everything you need for a worry-free, peaceful stay in the mountains. The check-in/check-out was easy and I had the host's phone # for quick text response to a question. We saw a deer outside our bedroom window on the first day! “Nice accommodations tucked just outside downtown. Proximity is close to city happenings, but far enough away for our pup to not be anxious about city sounds. The property had everything we needed with helpful amenities like make-up remover wipe, Q-tips, and kitchen supplies. Communication with the host was great. The screened in porch is a HUGE bonus. Pup friendly. Had dog bowls and extra poop bags in the closet. ”
