“The KATY Trail Pull Off was the second night say for us as part of our KATY Trail cycling tour. It was easy to access, convenient, clean, spacious, and easy to walk downtown to grab a bit to eat. Our host was very responsive and welcoming. Definitely a place I would stay again if cycling the KATY Trail. ”

“Absolutely had a wonderful experience. From the time we booked the stay and even after we departed. “We took a trip to this quaint township to celebrate our 46th wedding anniversary. We love historical sites and this entire tiwnship is a historical site. Also came to experience the Lyceum Theater's play of A Christmas Carol, which was phenomenal and enjoyed a meal at the local J. HOUSTON'S tavern . The cottage was a very fun experience with history dripping in every corner but boasting all the modern conveiences that one would need. Will definitely recommend visiting this little town and……

“Staying at Sweet Gum was an absolute delight and the pics do not do it justice. This property is absolutely First Class in all ways. I was amazed at the extent and quality of the decorating and furnishings including a well-stocked kitchen with bone china! The furniture including the bed was very comfortable. The large leather sofa was my favorite. The location in Arrow Rock is also ideal, 1 to 3 blocks from any restaurant, coffee shop and theater. Finally, the owners were wonderful and……

“The owner has made this an inviting place to stay with the manner it was decorated and stocked. We enjoyed having coffee on the front porch and the side patio due to the warmer temperatures during our stay. Very close to Fort Cavazos, HEB grocery and the airport. ”
